C. McCabe is a law student in Connecticut, USA. While they have no formal training, they have been a lover of contemporary art for as long as they can remember. They have traveled exten-sively, visiting art museums wherever they go. They are concentrating their legal studies on pro-tection of artists’ rights, particularly when the art created breaks the boundaries of tradition and challenges the law’s definition of “art.”C. McCabe began experimenting with paint and color as a means of expressing nonverbal memories and emotions. They associate color with specific emotions; for them, each color selected paints the emotional landscape of a specific memory. Thickly layered acrylic paint and handmade glitter mediums mimic the layers of our memories, with cross-sections of seemingly dominant colors broken up by treasure troves of unexpected color combinations.
