Time is passing. Personality is changing. The body is getting old. Only instant emotions and states reflect who we truly are. Freedom, innocence, sorrow, kindness, pains, joy, cowardice are born with us...and become unseen due to our social attributes sometimes. Therefore, the “true self” is gradually walking away from us. To pursue and rebuild the “true self”, artist Lang created Hirono: a living and grand emotional world, via various mediums such as paintings, sculptures, toys and cartoons. Lang wishes everyone to enter into the wild inner world forgotten by us and to feel the delicate changes among light, shadows and the people in our lives again.
