Her name is Marion.
Of French origin, she was born in 1996 in the Grand-Est Region. It is in these places that the young artist finds her major inspirations. The outside world influences it. Photography is her first love, but her curiosity pushes her to other horizons. She obtained her baccalaureate in Science and Technology of Design and Applied Arts in 2015. Following the trials that life inflicts on her, Art becomes her outlet and gives her a smile. Through her photographer's eye, she sees things that she no longer saw. His hypersensitivity contributes to this and allows him to discover the world in a different way. Simple scenes of everyday life become for her, artistic works. She manages to find gaps of light in her darkest period, thanks to these small moments of happiness.
"A passerby smiles at you. Two lovers are in front of you, in their bubble. A woman walks by the water. A man plays the accordion in the pedestrian street where you pass every day, smelling the smell of just cooked waffles. A group of long-time friends gather on a bench to spend perhaps the most beautiful moment of their day. All these people surround us without being given
the slightest importance. We rush into our thoughts or into a virtual dimension. If these images passed on a screen, we would find love, comfort, poetry, melancholy. We would pay attention to the protagonists, to the laughter, to this song that plays in the background, to the setting. The main objective of my art is to illuminate what we end up finding banal. Sight is a gift; we tend to forget it. The next time you walk around, make your senses work too."
