This painting was inspired by the full moon in August 2020.
I painted for many nights in a row under the moon light.
It’s an abstract representation of an inner dreamscape with two central female figures that are symbolizing travelers to the moon.
It can be looked at from four different angles and each one offers a special perspective with detailed elements. The whole artwork plays with the jumping from one large scale to smaller scales. It was executed with several layers of washed acrylic and charcoal applica-tions to render the texture of a lunar soil and an extraterrestrial landscape.
