Here what matters to me is not the technique but the signifier, the abstraction is also a realism depending on the angle of view, I live in front of a wood and I end up forgetting its presence and its strength. I propose it by painting it with an instinctive touch, like my memory transposes it. Everyone thinks while watching that there is nothing sweeter; here a verdant undergrowth, a ray of light through the leaves, a flash of sunshine that trans-ports our souls and suddenly all the dreams of the world seem within us.
