Flowers were once used as a kind of language, for people to convey thoughts, feelings, or messages to one another in the form of tangible & fleeting natural physical objects, objects otherwise prized for their beauty alone. Often, this was done to keep communication discreet, contrasting with flowers’ bold physicality. This piece explores what the successor of this floral language might look like in the chaotic post-digital era, challenging the notion of meaning as captured or static, yet harmonizing digital distortion with physical decay and entropy. What is the message, now?
