Cecilie has been working with punch needle and tufting for 5 years. She is inspired by strong colors, patterns and expressiveness. And having a long career as a professional theater dancer, movement and masks are often also to find in her work.
Recycling and the environment is also very important to Cecilie. Therefor approximately 95 percent of her materials are recycled or made from materials other people have thrown out.
That goes not only for the yarn, but also from punching on old tablecloths, to the wood, that the frames for her work is made of.
