Alex Silver began shooting photography & producing music at the age of 13. He studied Fine Art & Photography at New York University, Tisch School of the Arts. Now a Professional Fine Art Photographer, Alex’s work has been exhibited Internationally. He’s won multiple awards from competitions such as the London Photography Awards, Muse Awards, & New York Photography Awards. Alex has also exhibited & been featured in, Venice International Art Fair 16th Edition 2022, Canvas International Art Fair 2023 - “BODYSPACES”, Blank Wall Gallery in Athens, Greece, Praxis Gallery Photo Center in Minneapolis, & PhotoPlace Gallery juried exhibition “Monochrome” in Middlebury, Vermont. Thus far in Alex’s career, his representation includes Isabella Garrucho Fine Art, in Greenwich CT & Mar Silver Design, in Westport CT. His series ‘Divine Feminine’ was featured in both the September 2022 issue “Monochromatic” by Dodho Magazine & also in New England Home CT “Wanderlust” issue. Alex’s mentors over the years include Björn Wallander, Paul Dalio, Paul Nicklen & Cristina Mittermeier, Isolde Brielmaier, Ryan Michael Kelly, Jeralyn Glass, Larry Silver, & Editha Mesina, & Tom LeGoff.
As a music producer, Alex has released 5 Independent albums & over 100 songs since his debut in 2018. His most recent project ‘Night’ was endorsed by super producer Scott Storch, and he’s also been inquired by the Director of A&R at Roc Nation to share his production for their signed artist roster. Alex has trained as a sound healer incorporating healing frequencies into his music. He’s studied & owns crystal alchemy singing bowls which he uses to perform sound baths. He was mentored by Jeralyn Glass, the sound healing instructor to artists such as Jhené Aiko & SZA.
Alex’s dream is to someday build a healing oasis for soul rehabilitation where artists & individuals can explore creative outlets and expression through unique innovations in sensory bliss.Alex has always had a strong drive to create and produce content that in-terprets the world & his experiences through various mediums while provoking profound emotions and perspectives through his work. Whether it's creating music, photography, films, clothing, sound healing, poetry, or paintings, he longs to grow as an artist and reach his full potential. He’s dedicated to work that fulfills his soul and purpose.
