Hana is an emerging artist with strong expressionist tendencies and a passionate lover of painting. After her spiritual awakening, she began to paint full time instead of her original profession as an attorney. She is now studying painting at the Art and Design Institute in Prague, Czech Republic under the guidance of one of the most prominent Czech painters, Roman Franta to complement her formal education in painting. She lives and creates mostly in Prague.
My work focuses mainly on exploring the sacredness of all that is and the transfer of this sacred essence of objects onto the canvas. I work mainly with figurative painting and portraits, often working in cycles. My way of creating is free and not limited by the mind. I work mainly with oils and acrylics, I love to use colors in their full intensity and I also tend to paint on large formats. In the creative process, I naturally get into a state where my mind is not active so I can be a channel for what wants to be expressed.
