A way of seeing the world, a way of escaping from reality, seeing things that the eyes cannot see at first sight.

I am Lore Gardelle, born in Bordeaux and settled in Bilbao. After studying Art and Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Bilbao, I explored different techniques and styles until I found my own. I had always been passionate about photography, and during my degree, I discovered endless possibilities in abstraction to investigate, in which I was more attracted to black and white geometric works. Shortly after, the pandemic influenced the way I express myself, drawing me closer to colors and organic shapes, almost unconsciously. I found in abstract photography an oneiric world where I could escape from reality and see the world from another point of view. A way to immerse in my personal world, and to seek a connection with the receiver through feelings and sensations that appeal to the history of each one. Of an introverted nature, abstract art is for me a way to express emotions and thoughts, and to bring them closer to others.
