Charlotta Sverrisdóttir was born and raised in Reykjavík, Iceland. At the age of 50, she attended a school in California for a year, initially for fun, but this experience profoundly changed her life. She discovered a passion for painting, starting with oil as her primary medium. Upon returning to Iceland, she continued her artistic education at the visual art school in Kópavogur, where she studied for several years, taking numerous classes with artists both in Iceland and online. A founding member of an artist group in Garðabær, Charlotta has been actively involved with the group for 15 years. Over the years, she has participated in several exhibitions, both solo and group shows. Her artwork has been acquired by Garðabær and the post office in Reykjavík. Charlotta has also been a member of a gallery in Reykjavík, and she currently works out of her studio in Kópavogur.
