This work situates the different watertight compartments not as a fixed form, but as a site of continuous becoming. Fragmentation operates here as both structure and condition: reality is not represented, but dispersed—emerging through intermittent flashes of light and zones of shadow. The unveiled figures, deliberately fragile, resists resolution, holding instead a tension between presence and dissolution. The different watertight compartments idea introduce a subtle shift: no longer instruments of action, they become perceptive surfaces, attuned to what has yet to take shape. In this sense, the work does not depict the future, but intimates its fractures—quietly, almost inevitably. Reality is not equal.
It arrives in fragments—
some illuminated,
others withheld.
The work explores the fragmentation image as a fragile site of becoming, where reality emerges in compartments rather than as a coherent whole. Through a subtle interplay of light and shadow, form is continuously unsettled, resisting resolution. The unveiled figures, positioned as perceptive rather than active, introduce a sense of anticipation—gesturing towards the latent fractures of an uncertain future.
