Bar Reddin graduated with a National Diploma in Art from the Waterford Institute of Technolo-gy in 2004 where he had been the inaugural winner of the Waterford/Newfoundland Prize for New Media in 2002.
For over twenty years Bar Reddin has created and destroyed the layers in his work, searching for the ephemeral and personal. He believes just as no two people are the same, so also an indi-vidual cannot remain the same from one moment to the next. Accordingly, each of Reddin’s pieces is unique as the day on which he approaches it. His goal is to capture the story of who he is at that instant, whether it occurred yesterday or today. And today is a world away from how he will approach it tomorrow.
