My name is Leigh Witherell and I am an emerging artist on the Space coast of Florida. I work in abstract and fluid art and the medium I choose to work in is acrylic. I love working with acrylics simply because they are rich and smooth in texture and the colors can be vibrant and bold as well as soft and subtle. I have always made art as a relaxing hobby, and I minored in Fine Art in my bachelors program in school. But it wasn’t until we relocated to Florida in 2018 that I began to see my art as something I could share with the world. But it was the unfortunate passing of my daughter that pushed me into the realm of selling my art. She was a big believer that I should show my truth to the world, and I wish I had been braver before she died so she could see this transformation. She is my inspiration and I honor her in my art.
