Referring to the name of the Exhibition and especially the enclosed “Liquiditiy” I felt myself inspired to follow the path to an Lady in an environment of something liquid, contrasted by an umbrella which somehow seems to branch out, which led me to the title of this artwork. Moreover, “branching out” could also be understood as the first step to a connection, the growing branches trying to get in touch wich something/someone else; seemingly strange in a world which already is somelike super-connected all about – but as we all have to see connections can also be interrupted and misused, sometimes we urgently need some kind of being re-connected in a completely different way than before.
