Andres Lopez was born in Santa Clara, Cuba on July 6, 1971. As a child, he developed a deep love for the beauty of the countryside and the exquisite architecture of his hometown. He partic-ipated in drawing contests at the tender age of 9. When he became an adolescent, he began taking art classes at the local art school and later decided to devote himself to painting and craftwork to support their parents financially.
When he arrived at the United States in 1993, he began the pursuit of his goals, later in 1999, he devoted himself to painting murals and decorative effects. Then in 2003, he received American citizenship. And one year later he created his own corporation called Artistic Illusions Painting, Inc. Today Andres Lopez paints and teaches in Miami for a living, his last works are what he sees even in the most common scenes: the close relationship of life and who we are with the natural world around us that asks us to respect and care for it.
