“This is the view from the back balcony on the first floor of my granduncle's house, looking into the interior. The red and yellow objects are two half-open (ajar) doors, evoking curiosity about what kind of space lies beyond them. The blue rectangle is a window, which looks into the first room. The red door leads to the second room, and next to it is a small triangle representing the third room. The two stacked grey objects on the right are stairs leading to the floors above and below. Behind the yellow door is a toilet, which is strangely located on the back balcony. Even more unusual is that it has a Japanese-style flush toilet—I have never seen one in a private place before, but this one is, although it has been abandoned for many years and is now unusable”
