Year: 2022
Size: 101.6cm x 76.2 cm
Technique: Acrylic on canvas

Like in many works of painter Daniel Nikolov, you can see the big concentration on texture along with beautiful acrylic colour composition emerging through the layers of paint. Everyone can see this piece differently.
When it's turned vertically it can resemble an abstract person in the middle of the piece, but if you turn it horizontally you can see a really beautiful abstract sunset in Antarctica, or somewhere with icy land. The author's inspiration for abstract landscape paintings is living in Ireland.
Antarctica is the coldest, driest, and windiest continent, and at the same time so beautiful. That's what the author is trying to depict with these bright colours. The unseen beauty, in the antarctic night with aurora in the night sky.
