Bio

I was born in 1972 in Toulouse France. After 5 years of studying Visual Arts, I decided in 1998 to create my first paintings entitled Pigments and Wavelengths. The concept being to bring together two kinds of colors which vary depending on the intensity of the light, whether natural or artificial. The pigments I use when painting, and the wavelengths in the form of adhesives which diffract light like a prism, create kinetic colors on which the light undulates on my paintings. My source of inspiration is my hometown. “Toulouse, the pink city in the southwest of France, is known worldwide for being the capital of aeronautics. Indeed, the city is home to the headquarters of Airbus, one of the largest aircraft manufacturers in the world, as well as many other companies in the aeronautics and space sector.” The movements and gestures come to me from Action Painting and the Zen of Asian painting.
