Born in Madrid, Estrella Cañas has been in love with painting all her life. She has been taking classes and attending art workshops since 1990. Portrait, landscape, mixed media, photomontage and colour theory are some of the courses she has completed in different Art schools in Madrid. At the same time, Estrella has developed her own work, in which she combines the knowledge she has acquired over more than thirty years, with artistic intuition. This has led her to develop a body of work in which colour and abstract forms are the protagonists, and which has been exhibited individually and collectively in a dozen spaces throughout Spain.
