Krunoslav Bedi is a contemporary Croatian artist and computer scientist. After receiving a PhD in Information Science, he began working as a computer technician in 1994, actively applying himself in the field of e-learning. Through in-depth studies of new information and communication technologies, he also uses multimedia in teaching and he is the author of some thirty professional scientific articles. His deep connection with the world of information technology and technology also opens up towards the artistic and creative branch, giving life to artworks that take shape, thanks to artificial intelligence, from his prose texts and poems: an innovative approach for today's art market, which is increasingly connected to the world of technology.

Artist Statement:

“My personal artistic practice focuses primarily on poetry. After I complete the poem, I ‘paint' the poem into a work of art using various methodological processes and an inter-disciplinary approach using AI technology. This requires an individual and broad range of knowledge and creativity to be both a poet and an artistic painter. I consider self-discovery to be the pinnacle of artistic expression. Consciousness, thoughts and expressionistic fiction are the basis of structured art. Beauty as a catalyst and different forms and ICT (multimedia) are enough to provoke different senses with the aim of creating meaning (information). The goal of art and artistic work is to show the world the unconscious beau-ty and the joy it evokes. With such an approach, I allow the viewer (audience) to complete my own artwork. I enjoy discovering the artist of observation.”
