Initially, I explored various materials, including watercolors and pastels; however, I found it difficult to achieve results that felt fully convincing. A turning point came when I encountered watercolor crayons in an art supply store. I intuitively developed a technique based on blending the pigments with my fingers, a process that immediately resonated with my sensibility.
From the outset, my approach has been guided by spontaneity rather than premeditation. I do not rely on preparatory sketches, instead allowing the image to emerge freely through an instinctive and intuitive gesture. I still vividly recall the profound emotion I experienced upon completing my first work using this method.
Since then, this practice has consistently led me toward subjects such as angels, the Virgin Mary, and the representation of light, elements that appear naturally within my visual language.
I have not undertaken formal academic training in art. My background includes the study of tole painting pursued as a personal interest. Nevertheless, it is my sincere hope that viewers may perceive within my work a sense of love, serenity, light, and hope.
