March Melancholy
2010
Info
Technique: Watercolor on Paper
Size: 413×382mm
This unusually fantastic work was born out of a desire to draw something using my favourite magnolia flower as a motif.
It is also a work in which the 'stain' is so effectively expressed that it can never be done again.
No one knows what is in the heart of the girl, who seems to be melancholy about the sadness of the passing of time, superimposed on the fragility of the flower's life.
