Bio

I’m a London based artist, exploring the intercultural interactions. I believe people are making this planet a beautiful place with their differences by spreading their traditions and colours around.
The amalgam of many contrasting cultures is an endless source of inspiration for me. I like to explore humans and the modification of feelings in a new multicultural environment. My works are a personification of my experience of emigration. I’m building emotions and feelings, not objects.
With interior design background I shifted to the Fine Arts for the last 8 years. In July 2017 I had my first solo exhibition in London and decided to follow my passion with further ed-ucation, followed by many group exhibitions. During my Foundation at Hampstead school of Arts I participated at Picture the Heath event, part of the Hampstead Summer Festival and became the face on the event’s poster for the next two years, appeared in the local Ham&High newspaper in June 2018 and the Artists & Illustrators magazine in March 2019.
Graduated from MA in Fine Art course at Chelsea College of Arts, UAL where my work in collaboration with my daughter Victoria Rotaru “LandEscape” was presented at Tate Brit-ain at Late at Tate event (online).
Shortlisted for the Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2021.
One of the 40 artists chosen to be represented by Made in Arts London from around the six UAL Colleges in 2021.
Work in private collections in: Italy, France, Nederland, Belgium, UK, USA, Canada, Roma-nia, Turkey, Ukraine and Moldova.
