Marta Iwanowska - lives in Warsaw but was born in Sokołów Podlaski, Poland. He has been interested in drawing and painting since childhood. However, fate pushed her in a different direction. A graduate of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin at the Faculty of Economics. In 2020, I completed the first semester of postgraduate studies in Drawing and Painting. Studies were interrupted by the pandemic. Study was with prof. Andrzej Grenda and prof. Tomasz Chojnacki. In 2023, completed postgraduate studies of Painting and History of Art in Warsaw with prof. Zbigniew Gręziak at Lukaszewski University. Her paintings and illustrations are in private homes all over Poland and abroad. She uses practically all techniques, but most she likes pencil, charcoal and oil paints. It deals with emotions, sensitivity, searching for oneself, a journey into oneself.

Artist's statement
My paintings and illustrations are dreamy vibes to find yourself, born of longing for the sea and the feeling of freedom it gives us. I want my works to show the world of inner experiences, characters immersed in their own, inner mental landscape and their main idea is to find yourself. It deals with emotions, sensitivity, searching for oneself, a journey into oneself. I use practically all techniques, but most I like pencil, charcoal and oil paints. Painting and art is a way for me to find myself after long period of depression . In 2023, I completed postgraduate studies of Painting and History of Art in Warsaw at Lukaszewski University. By drawing and painting I am looking for peace, strength to live, I am trying to find myself. Painting soothes me, allows me to express deeply hidden emotions that are hard for me to express in words. I am very touched when my works catch both the eye and something inside, something deeper.
