My great-grandfather built this house, and it was passed down to my grandfather, then to my father, and eventually to me, weaving a family history over the years.
In the small garden, trees grew tall over time, and cherry blossoms, birds, insects, and cats all live here.
A beautiful and miraculous cycle has quietly continued in the heart of Fukuoka in Japan.
I captured the end and beginning of such a cycle.
Will there be an end to this house someday? I want to preserve it for as long as possible.

曾祖父が建てた家。

この家を祖父が引き継ぎ子へ孫へと紡いでいく。
小さな庭の中で長い年月をかけて木々が大きくなり桜が咲き、鳥が、虫が、猫が生きている。

日本の福岡のど真ん中で美しい奇跡の循環がひっそりと続いている。
そんな循環の終わりと始まりを切り抜いてみた。

いつかこの家にも終わりが来るのだろうか？
僕は守っていきたい。
