We are met with challenges every day. These last 18 months in particular have left us exhausted mentally, physically and spiritually.
My Paradise is my emotional well- being. It is about feeling joy, harmony, and satisfaction. I try to harness these feelings through my art.
In my painting The Tempest, I wish to depict the storm that we have weathered.
A perfect Paradise to me is being whole in mind and body but life is not perfect. We are not perfect. Like my piece, The Tempest, we have been left slightly tarnished and worn, yet there is still beauty in life and in all of us.
