Christopher Snarr is an abstract painter and digital creator. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts for Graphic Design at California State University of Fullerton, that is where his spark for painting grew into a wildfire. His art, “Contained Abstraction” combines multiple simple shapes to create complex illusions. He coined the term “Contained Abstraction” because he believes his art should be both, free flowing and controlled. Through his paint pouring technique, he is free flowing; he then adds layers of spray paint with adhesives, giving him control over what is being portrayed. He loves using vibrant colors and creating strong contrasts within his work. His art is really a representation of his unique imagination, and he hopes that other people will see his vision, and it will inspire them to follow their own unique imagination’s.
