My Name is Jonathan Gutierrez, a Filipino-Canadian self taught artist. I was born on July 20, 1978 in the Philippines. My family migrated in Canada since I was 19. I started to draw when I was 3 years old. I lived a simple life. I never give up on drawing using recycle pens, papers, colors or any resources that i can find. When I came in Canada, I studied Art Class in University of Alberta, Mac Ewan University and joined in Luxembourg Art Prize 2020. I was part of Art Operation in Palazzo Ducale Genova Italy of Divulgarti Group. I am also part of the exhibit Art Anthology III in Madrid Spain which i was one of the Artist on the Yearbook published this October 2021 by Guto Ajayu Culture. Most of my work represents my life experiences, past and presents, emotions, childhood, family, beliefs, dreams, places. I have my own style of abstract using different medium and create lines, images and color combination on my work. I want to be a successful artist to make a difference and feel people to feel inspired, have positive views whenever they see my artwork.
