Jeanette Gunnarsson My name is Jeanette Gunnarsson. I was born in 1963 in Härnösand. I live in a little village in Älandsbro, just outside Härnösand. Härnösand is located at the beginning of The High Coast which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. I live in a very beautiful place with the forest just around the corner. I love to paint and could do it all day long. It gives me a warm and comfortable feeling in my body to be painting. I use acrylic painting. I have taken the basic course in Vedic Art and I felt that this way of painting suited me perfect. For me - going to this course made me realize that everyone can paint. Everyone! There is no right or wrong. My painting is intuitive, I never decide what I should paint – it is the canvas itself that tells me what it should be and that is very interesting and exciting. Every done painting comes as a surprise for me. Most often it will be figurative but occasionally there will also be abstract artworks.
