Dolores Nemi Caldentey (born in May 2001, Pergamino, Buenos Aires, Argentina), publicly known as “The Stars Collector”, is an Argentinian visual artist. Her work consists in creating digital collages in-spired by contemporary surrealism. The main themes in her creations are space, relationships and mental health awareness. Her style has a nostalgic, vintage and expressive feeling. With key elements like butterflies, flowers and the Moon, Dolores talks about her own experiences and thoughts about life, human connections, deep feelings and other topics. Usually, the people on her collages have their faces hidden (even erased), because she seeks to maintain the anonymity of the characters in the piece, so her audience can feel represented by them. She wants people to feel understood and inspired by her art. The Stars Collector started to share her art online in February 2022. Nowadays, she keeps creating new pieces on @the.stars.collector (Instagram), where she has a community full of space and art lovers.
