I was 11, stole the bicycle and left the house. I pedaled my way towards the restricted areas, the places I was forbidden from going to. 
I went as fast as I could and was thrilled until I could no longer control it. I was speeding down a slope, where I took a heavy fall on the asphalt. I still remember the burning sensation and the blood squirting out of my legs and arms, grey and red.
Everything was blurry in a painful sort of way. Stars were dancing in front of my eyes, and drops of guilt were mixed with a glittering fascination. I still have the scars!
