Sara Eckhardt (25) born in Leipzig, Germany, landed after many stations back in Leipzig and works now as a pharmacist. Always pencil in hand, she developed during her difficult studies a style of increasingly complex black and white drawings with 0.03mm pencils as an outlet for the surrounding stress and powerlessness of not having a voice. Since her mother bought her a box of oil paints, she now retreats to the garage every free minute before and after work, painting one canvas after another. Scientific content, forms from nature, and the political issues of the left-feminist neighbourhood in which Sara lives provide her with the motifs for the drawings.
