“Painting is poetry that is seen rather than felt, and poetry is painting that is felt rather than seen” - Leonardo da Vinci. Mainly centered on female faces, the importance of a gaze, are the eyes not the mirrors of the soul, they alone reflect so many emotions, passions, intensity, we can read love, fear, sadness ... I am captivated to start a drawing with the eyes and witness how the tone sets itself. The rest is intertwined, guided simply by the magic of the gaze. Originally from France, on the Côte d'Azur for 21 years now, after having taken courses at the Art School of Louvecienne (78) I divide my time between computer science teaching and digital art. How I swapped the brush for the stylus: following some medical constraints and surgical interventions forcing me to stay bedridden for several periods more or less while wearing a beautiful rigid corset. I took myself as the Frida Kahlo of the 21st century (just because of the corset, I would never pretend to compare myself to this great Artist) with graphic tablet and stylus. Being still extremely new to digital art, I draw according to my inspirations, my feelings. I am in search of my style, which I pretend to find or maybe not ;) But isn't it important to take pleasure in draw-ing and to be able to share your foolishness, your dreams? It became a passion; I became completely Addicted to it!
