I’m Michéle Kleez from Germany. I was born in Saxony and still live and work here. You can recognize my paintings by the impasto technique. I have two children and whenever time permits, I am drawn to my oil paints. I am fascinated by the art of the old painters. My affinity runs like a red thread through my life. As a visual merchandiser, I was allowed to design historical costumes and did guided tours in a hunting lodge in Dresden. So, I was always surrounded by oil paintings. At that time, I started with portrait drawings in pencil only a little later I ventured directly to oil and have not stopped there since. Above all, the bright, strong colors in connection with a strong color spread are my trademark. My inner motivation is to bring new artistic creations inspired by impressionism back into today's consciousness and thus stimulate new artistic connections.
