This is the first work I made in 2025, when the New Year arrived. It is imbued with the moment I felt I was starting on the path to my big dream. The light yellow-green color makes you feel the arrival of spring, and it also embodies softness and innocence. The fresh green leaves of spring tell us of growth and new beginnings. They also speak to my own heart, telling me “Something is going to happen! It's going to start!”, and making my heart flutter with excitement and anticipation. Just as the young leaves grow, I too want to grow little by little. This work expresses the courage and hope to take the first step in life. I hope that each person who sees it will feel their own “young leaves” and imagine growth and new possibilities. Like fresh green leaves, I believe that we too grow every day.
