Pavel Levites was born on May 19, 1982, in the Siberian city of Barnaul, Russia, where he began his artistic path at a local art school. His personal development was shaped by a unique professional background: Pavel earned an Engineering degree from the Railway University in Novosibirsk and worked in the passenger train industry. Later, his true calling led him back to fine arts. He moved to Chisinau, Moldova, where he graduated from the State Pedagogical University with a degree in Painting. Today, he continues to live and professionally create his art in Chisinau.

In his work, Pavel explores the “aesthetics of simple things.” His philosophy is rooted in the deep conviction that the small is always a reflection of the larger whole—much like the relationship between the microcosm and the macrocosm. Whether it is the smile of a loved one, the joy of connection, or a wildflower by the road—everything in life is significant. For the artist, the ability to perceive the miraculous in the everyday and find sincere joy in these simple manifestations of life is the source of true happiness and his primary inspiration.
