Bio

Leon Amemiya, Ph.D.

Art Biography

Self-taught (mentor: the world’s most beautiful works of art)

On January 1, 2023, Leon Amemiya created an acrylic painting to express kotobuki, an auspicious celebration, through the motif of peony flowers. As a self-taught artist, she has cultivated her artistic sensibility through the study of masterpieces of painting, sculpture, and architecture created by great artists around the world.

Guided by a strong belief that artistic expression transcends borders, she has fulfilled her desire to share her art with a global audience. Drawing upon the knowledge and experience she has accumulated, she expresses original insights and intuitive visions through her work. She continuously challenges herself by attempting to give visual form to philosophy, an inherently abstract discipline.

Her works are created with the hope that those who encounter them will feel uplifted and experience a sense of happiness.

In 2024, she registered trademarks to express her concept of “Idea”:
* No. 6845760 “Philosophy Art”
* No. 6845761 “Philosophyart”
