‘Bonnie’ is a representation of quiet contemplation in the garden. Representing the abundance of love and creation in nature, and the passing of time. This piece was created in oil paint, and used a combination of soft impressionistic style colour blends using wet-on-wet technique. And the sharper definitions bring highlights and shadows of foliage into focus with a thicker application and layering of paint. The loose and spontaneous brush strokes reflect the informal relaxing naturalistic setting.
