When I was 19, a new life, my first son, was born in my womb, and when I was 24, I met my second son, and we have lived together as a family of three. As my children grew up, they became more involved with the people around them and as I became a parent before I had grown up, I became more and more fascinated by the lotus flower, which grows in the mud, remembering the mud of the human society of the world, and the ugliness and foolishness of human beings overlapped. Lotus leaves do not sprout until they are undamaged, and they grow more beautifully in dirty mud. I want to be a beautiful, dignified flower like the lotus flower, so I try to keep my heart pure, no matter how unreasonable things get. I came across the art of botanical painting, which uses lotus leaves. The feature of botanical painting is that it can be coloured again and again. Through botanical painting, I think that the power of flowers, the power of art, and the power of colours have a great effect on our hearts. Having seen the hearts of people with all kinds of emotions from the recent pandemic to the present day, I now think that if you treat the hearts of others and your own heart with love, there will be moments when your heart suddenly opens up. When love is born, gratitude naturally arises. Everyone has a flower in their heart. I want you to put the “emotions and heart = colour” that can only be expressed in that moment on a lotus leaf and make the flower of love bloom. To do this, first of all, please love yourself. For those who don't yet know how to love themselves or others, those who are emotionally exhausted, and those who are under a lot of pressure due to responsibilities or their environment, I hope that my works, which are created with my compassion and love, will help to lighten their hearts even just a little I sincerely hope that my works, which are created with my compassion and love, will help to lighten the hearts of even just one person, and that they will help to bring the flowers of love to bloom, along with the smiles of as many people as possible.
