Aleksandra Bokan Hi there! I’m Aleksandra Bokan, Serbian artist, based in Sweden. Professional hair stylist, and a self-taught painter, I enjoy living in the abstract side of reality, often putting in a touch of my artsy side to the hairstyles I make. To me, there is no difference between stylizing hair and painting pictures, as both are forms of visual expression. One of my dearest hairstyling accomplishments is winning the second place on an international contest for creativity and talent, in Bologna, 2013. Being unable to travel and enjoy beautiful landscapes during these troubled pandemic times, I’ve decided not to miss out, and experience them using my painting brush and canvas. Apart from nature, I am most inspired by the delightful people I meet, and when they wake up emotions in me, I find that the best way to channel them is through painting.
