CAREER: 1994 Born in Kobayashi City, Miyazaki Prefecture / 2019: Graduated from Aichi Prefec-tural University of Arts in oil painting. Started full-scale activities as a painter by publishing works, mainly oil paintings, on SNS / March 2021: Established the art group office kiiwii with my sisters. Started exhibiting works and selling paintings and original goods / September 2021: Held a two-person exhibition with painter MIURA SAWAKO / December 2023: Participated in an art festival held at Artstone Gallery in Ginza, Tokyo // ABOUT MY STYLE: Each picture I paint represents a scene from an individual story. The scripts for these stories are always constructed in my mind. When I am shampooing my hair, riding the train, or feeling the changing seasons on my skin. When I express these stories in my paintings, my hands move instinctively without think-ing. It is as if I am practicing Zen. The most important thing I want to convey is that all the peo-ple in my paintings love someone. And this feeling of crying and rejoicing for that person is at the root of my work. I believe that anxiety and sadness can be confined within my work by paint-ing with bright colors.
