Aleksandra Kashina is a Hong Kong based artist.
For a long time she had quite a narrow and conservative understanding of art, with her appreciation extending only to pieces created using classical methods.
At the beginning of her own career she worked predominantly on portraits and landscapes but in moving to Hong Kong she has been able to both meet and learn from local artists who employ a va-riety of more abstract techniques.
This has broadened her art vocabulary immensely and since then she has begun exploring these techniques herself
and learning how to best work and experiment with them.
