Leona Franca was born in Argentina, but it was not until after several years living in Madrid that she emerged as a multidisciplinary artist who over the years has specialised in visual poetry. She uses vintage and found materials to create collages and artworks that evoke nostalgia and memory. Her background is in Audiovisual Communication, Photography and Fine Arts, and her passion for archival images will find strength in her works that are full of old elements, such as black and white photos, magazine clippings and old book pages. Her works have been exhibited in local art galleries and she has received accolades and nominations for her ability to create unique and emotive pieces that touch the hearts of those who view them.
Un amor real, es como dormir y estar despierto. Un amor real es como vivir en aeropuerto.
