Bio

Juan Luis García (Oviedo, August 31, 1973), is a Spanish artist.

He trained as an Industrial Draftsman and worked in several engineering companies. Many of her designs were published in magazines from the world of fashion and motoring: Woman, Camión, Dream Cars, Maxi Tuning and Autopista.

His artistic beginnings date back to the age of 6, participating in a collective exhibition of children's drawings that was held at the Núcleo de Oviedo Shopping Center. In his adolescence he receives some awards, highlighting the Special Mention given to him by the Ministry of Health of the Principality of Asturias on the occasion of the III Contest of Health Education Posters. At that time he designed the poster for the "I Folk Descent of the Esva River", organized by the Trevias Festival Commission. Town in western Asturias where he lived.

He began exhibiting at: Bars, Cider houses, Cafeterias and Hotels. He trained and perfected his oil painting technique in the Caveda Decoration workshops and in the Ana del Puente Art Workshop. In 2007, 2010, 2012, and 2014, he held four exhibitions in collaboration with the Oviedo City Council and the La Lila Cibercentro Exhibition Hall, where his drawing and painting works were shown, which make up the beginning of the COLLECTION OF DIMENSION ART PAINTING.

He is selected on various occasions, such as in the III and IV FUNDACIÓN CULTURAL ASTURIAS DE UGT PAINTING CONTEST. Where "Mechanisms" and "Malaysian Grand Prix" are exhibited in two traveling exhibitions that take place at the UGT headquarters in Oviedo, Centro Cultural Antiguo Instituto Jovellanos and Laboral Ciudad de la Cultura de Gijón, in 2008 and 2009 respectively. In 2019 "Foncalada Street" is selected in the XV NATIONAL CONTEMPORARY PAINTING CONTEST "CASIMIRO BARAGAÑA" and is exhibited at the Siero’s hause of culture, in Asturias.

In the CIMENTADA GALLERY of Oviedo, his first individual exhibition takes place in a Commercial Hall, it is the year 2015. In 2019 he participates in a Collective exhibition with SKY GALLERY ART'S in Barcelona, entitled "Small format, great works". From the hand of the GAUDI GALLERY of Madrid, he presents his work at AFFORDABLE ART FAIR MILANO 2016, his first International Art Fair held in Italy and in the group exhibition entitled: "Aperitiv in Paris" held at the gallery Madrid in 2021, which is the first room of his presentation at the SALON INTERNATIONAL D`ART CONTEMPORAIN ART3F PARIS 2021 (France). This same year he is selected by the MADS MILANO ART GALLERY for the exhibition project "Philo Poem", a new and revolutionary image exhibition system curated by expert personalities from the Italian art world.

He is currently a student of the Art History Degree of the (UNED) and prepares new works for new projects and future exhibitions.
