I started painting in 2006. I have attended courses in Oslo and two years of art and design schools. Intuitive, abstract, expressionist and impressionist painting mostly with acrylic, dynamic medium, which dries fast. Lately, I like to cover up the canvases with different mediums or mate-rials, like textiles. Objects often ’fall’ to the canvas’s surface and therefore the works often end up as collages. I am also experimenting with aquarelle, acrylic with water and gouache paint, as well as other mediums such as gloss, gold powder (or fabric) or transparent gel (acrylic). Major inspiration is nature and great artists, known and unknown, and loved. Names: Picasso, Kahlo, Munch, Jorn, Queen Sonja, Inger Sitter Pia Myrvold, Nupen, etc. Lately, I discovered that con-temporary painting is a great way of expressing yourself!
