Karima Uldanova was born in 1990 in Uljanovsk city in the USSR. She has been painting almost since birth, and since childhood has looked carefully at the world around her, try-ing to guess how to draw it on paper. She is a lefty. Her dreams of becoming an artist ini-tially remained dreams, as she attended Ufa State Aviation Technical University to study telecommunication systems. However, in 2010 she organised her first exhibition in the city of Ufa using her own savings. In 2012 Karima retrained as a frontend developer due to difficulties finding work in telecommunications. In 2018, she moved to Ljubljana, Slo-venia. At the age of 29, Karima understands that she cannot live without a dream, she's started to draw more and more, took the pseudonym KARIMZA, growing up her social media accounts and participating in exhibitions, and so, step by step, little by little, she is trying to move towards her goal.
"There are always a lot of philosophic thoughts in my mind that I want to express, and I try to do it through my art. This makes me happy and brings me calm."
