Gabriella Fiorillo (Ancona, Italy) is an Interior Designer, Children's Book Illustrator but above all I have been a professional artist for over 40 years.

ARTISTIC STATEMENT:
“My first collection of paintings "COSMOGONIA" was born while I was observing my works, while I was pouring acrylic colours on the canvas: this phase fascinates me, especially the fact of seeing this fluidity while creating these movements in a natural way, I find it extraordinary. From here, I thought of the birth of the cosmos, the creation of fluid and energetic environments that mark 'The Origin of the Universe', they bring me back to my personality, being in constant evolution, shaping matter, creating and pouring colours in my own way to make each painting a unique piece. My cerebral activity comes into play, combining with my visceral activity, it is my unique way that explains my creativity. And when I make paintings dedicated to WATER I feel particularly good, it is my natural and main element, I feel at home.
The SEA and the sound of WATER are a formidable therapy, and when combined with colours they become so powerful that they raise the frequency of your energy and their power lasts. If 'COLOUR' is the master of creativity that helps you understand the distinction between work and play, fatigue and leisure, education and entertainment, the 'NOISE OF WATER' helps you understand what your body and mind needs.
For me, DRAWING is like a therapeutic art, which seals the 'MY-ART' in each and every one. There are no reproductions. My paintings are not perfect, because to be 'SPECIAL' they must not be perfect but 'UNIQUE'.
