「多様性」この言葉について、あなたはどう考えますか？
多様なことは素晴らしいことだ。他を尊重し、受け入れる。
これは世界的にも必要なことであり、この世の中が進む中で、重要視されている課題のひとつである。
しかし、本当にそうだろうか？
私の住む日本は今、この問題に揺れている。かつての「穏やかさ」がいま、音を立てて崩れ落ちようとしている。
これは今に限った話ではない。およそ3 0 年、水面下でじわりじわりと進行していたのである。
グローバルな社会とは裏腹に、そのグローバルに殺されようとしている。
今年だけで、神社仏閣が1 0 件原因不明に燃え朽ちた。養豚施設も燃えた。
「殺人」「暴行」「窃盗」「詐欺」「強姦」これらが、グローバルで豊かな秩序ある社会が目指す未来なのだろうか？
私たちが望む「多様性」なのだろうか？
他の国の極端な優遇。自国への極端な冷遇。
今、国民が、国の中枢に中指を向ける。アンチテーゼが増える。こんな世の中にしたのは一体誰なのだ。
私たちは、ただ、いつもと同じように穏便に暮らしを続けたいだけなのに。
私たちは、一体どこへ向かっているのか。
ああ、あの穏やかさはどこへ行ってしまったのだろうか。

What are your thoughts on the word “diversity”?
Diversity is a wonderful thing. It means respecting and accepting others.
This is a global necessity and one of t he issues gaining increasing importance as t he world moves forward.
But is t hat really t he case?
Japan, where I live, is currently reeling f rom t his issue.
The “tranquility” of t he past is now crumbling with a loud crash.
This isn’t just a recent phenomenon.
It has been creeping a long beneath t he surface for roughly 3 0 years.
Contrary to t he global society, we a re being killed by t hat very globalism. This year a lone, 10 shrines and
temples have burned to t he g round for unknown reasons. Pig farms have also burned down.
“Murder,” “assault,” “theft,” “ fraud,” “rape”̶is t his t he future
that a global, prosperous, and orderly society aims for?
Is t his t he “ diversity” we desire?
Extreme preferential treatment for other countries.
Extreme neglect of our own.
Now, t he people a re giving t he
middle finger to t he nation’s leadership.
Opposition is g rowing.
Who on earth turned t he world into t his?
We just want to continue living our lives peacefully,
as we always have. Where on earth are we headed?
Oh, where has t hat peace gone?
