Mirva Hamdi I am Mirva Hamdi in 1983 born a self-taught artist from Finland. I'm inspired by almost everything. But most of the time, emotions, colors and the Finnish nature provides a source of inspiration for my art. I like to vary materials and techniques. But I prefer acrylics on paper or canvas. It is also important that the materials I use are of artist quality. I've been painting and drawing female characters since I was a teenager. I create them less often than my other very abstract art. They are very personal and honest. And often quite primitive. I paint female characters to deal with my feelings and understand myself and the world better. I am a very prolific artist. Expressing myself through art is important to me. As I paint, I feel I am in the right place and fill my place in this world.
